Like Progenitor, Like Progeniture

New art for Newgrounds' yearly Pixel Day. This was a funny piece to work on - my idea for it was to tell a story about how we learn from our parents. Despite all the good they can teach us, we also tend to inherit their mistakes and destructive habits. I showed the piece to a friend, though, and she interpreted it more literally: as parents "moving earth" to provide for their kids. I thought that came from such a heartwarming place, and that it spoke volumes for optimism vs pessimism. I always really enjoy seeing how different people interpret stories and artwork.
But if you'd prefer to believe this has an environmentalist message, sure, I'll take that too.
