In each of these designs, I wanted to take advantage of the medium of graphic design, utilizing abstract and non-representational shapes. For each piece, I blended texture and grit inspired by heavy metal lyric videos and touches of Newgrounds' old website design with a touch of the clean shapes and motions seen in most major brands of the past decade or so (i.e. the circles inspired by the bokeh effect in the still images). Additionally, I aimed to create something distinct for each format. The font was derived from K2D by Cadson Demak (under the Open Font License), inspired by the one utilized in the promotions for Pink Floyd's Endless River.
